If there was an award for lying to oneself Kate Beckett was sure she would have won several. The only problem with lying to your self was eventually you could tell when you were being lied to. You discovered the tells, the searching for other stories to appease your mind. The glances away from your eyes in the mirror hoping not to see the giveaway blush on your cheeks. Or the blatant lies of your body telling you one more pull up would get rid of the images in your head. Yes she would have won several awards for lying to yourself.
